The Rosenthal Road repairs are about to begin.
Council has approved Vihar Construction to complete all aspects of restoration work.
The estimated length of completion is 4 weeks with a minimum 5 day work week scheduled.
On October 30th, a Request for Quotation was sent to multiple local contractors for the scope of the work. The timeline for the quotations ended Nov 8th.
The funding will come from the project budget of $365,000 from the Gas Tax Fund.
The estimated cost of the restoration is $255,763.13 which will include clearing and grubbing, removal of existing earthworks and placement of new earthworks and the provision of new materials for earthworks.
Once the repairs begin, traffic management will be put in place with no more than 15 min road shutdowns in effect.
