Smithers council meets tonight.
The meeting starts with three delegations.
The first from the town’s grant writer with a year end report and the second from Staff Sgt Marshall.
She is expected to give an update on the Smithers RCMP and notify councillors of her last day on the job.
The third delegation is from a resident that would like to address a compliant against him regarding a logging truck parked at his house.
Also on tonight’s agenda, library board appointments will be suggested, a lease with the farmers market is up for renewal, staff will ask for direction on work trucks parked overnight in residential areas and recommendations on grant money will be given.
