The village of Burns Lake’s first council meeting of the year will be tonight with a light agenda.
The curling club will make a presentation and discuss the costs and usage of the lounge area.
A representative from School District 91 will also make a presentation to council.
The district is looking to strengthen their trades programs for highschool students but in order to get more ministry money, they need the support from council.
Also on the agenda, the Bulkley Valley Air shed Management Society will ask for one councillor to join their board, as well as ask for financial assistance and allow the works yard to receive old stoves to be decommissioned.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m.
