The Moricetown chief and council are holding a meeting tonight (Thursday) to explain the ongoing negotiations to possibly enter into LNG agreements.
The benefits that come with participating in LNG projects will also be discussed.
Cheif Barry Nikal says they are still looking into entering the First Nations Group Limited Partnership that 15 other First Nations are part of.
He says by joining, Moricetown can gain cash payments, priority access to jobs, skills training and contracting opportunities among other economic benefits that the existing members currently enjoy.
The meeting starts at 5 pm at the Moricetown Multiplex.
Dinner will be provided.
