The grand opening ceremony for the new Lakes District Hospital and Health Centre is taking place tomorrow.
The Health Minister Terry Lake, MLA for Nechako Lakes John Rustad and representatives from Northern Health and the Stuart-Nechako Regional Hospital District will be in attendance.
The public is invited for the ribbon cutting ceremony and tours starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
Construction on the project began in 2013 and is opening six months ahead of schedule.
The hospital will be open for use on February 4.
The old hospital will be demolished in the spring and the space will be used for parking.
