The first Smithers and District Chamber of Commerce luncheon is taking place tomorrow.
For the past five years, the chamber has held an outlook lunch in January that invites elected officials to discuss how the past year went and a preview of things to come in the new year.
Stikine MLA Doug Donaldson, Smithers Mayor Taylor Bachrach, Telkwa Mayor Darcy Repen, Regional District Area A Director Mark Fisher will be in attendance.
The chamber says this gives business people the opportunity for face-to-face discussions.
The luncheon takes place at the Pioneer Activity Centre at noon.
