The Alzheimer’s Walk for Memories has been deemed a success by one volunteer.
Sunday’s walk in Smithers was well attended, says Carl Eddy.
“The event was excellent,” he says. “There was about 40 walkers out, which was tremendous. That is right about what we normally have and there is a lot of support. It was really nice and it was a beautiful day for a walk on top of it all.”
Over $4,000 was raised. All the money will go to support research to find a cure for Alzheimer’s.
