The Village of Burns Lake meets tonight.
The evening starts with a delegation from TransCanada with an update on the Coastal Gaslink Project.
Council will also discuss snow removal because more and more residents are pushing the snow from their private properties onto village streets, which is a safety hazard and putting a strain on the budget.
Also on the agenda, Councillors are excepted to direct staff to write a letter in support of School District 91’s proposal to strengthen their trades programs for high school students to the Ministry of Education.
Staff will recommend the rental agreement for the chamber office’s to be renewed without any further negotiation.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m.
