The Town of Smithers recently won first place in the Reducing Contaminants Recycling Competition.
It’s prize – a bench made out of recycled plastic. The town has ordered this bench model with a light grey finishing and has chosen to engrave it.
The the new home for the bench has yet to be determined, but city staff are looking to choose a spot along Main Street.
