The Burns Lake Snowmobile Club isĀ holding their 10th Annual Cold Smoke Drag Races this weekend.
Lana Miller says it is great community event that brings out a lot of people.
“It is a nice time to get out, some people just come out for the fresh air and get a hamburger from the concession,” she says. “The big draw is the turbo sleds, they are really fast and really loud.”
Miller says riders come from all over the province, andĀ sometimes evenĀ from Whitehorse,Ā to compete.
The races will start around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
