Donaldson has a few concerns with the budget

The NDP MLA for Stikine says he has a few concerns with the provincial budget that was tabled yesterday.
Doug Donaldson says he doesn’t think the finance minister should be giving a tax break for the highest income earners in the province while raising costs for things that people can’t avoid.
“He was balancing the budget on the backs of other people in the province by increasing hydro rates by 6 per cent in the coming year, increasing ICBC rates from up to 6 per cent in the coming year and increasing medical service premiums by 4 per cent in the coming year,” he says.
Donaldson says he needs to look more deeply into the tax breaks announced for families, he says sometimes they look better than they are.
