An agriculture conference and trade show is taking place in Smithers this weekend.
Smithers Farmer’s Institute Director Megan Darcy says ‘From Carrots to Cattle’ is aimed at Bulkley Valley producers.
“It is basically meant to be a time for people to access local knowledge and the expertise of people speaking at the conference,” she says. “It is very inclusive so it should be of interest to producers from all walks of life.”
Presentations and events will be held at Hudson Bay Lodge. Darcy says while registration is full, she wouldn’t turn anyone away that wanted to come.
