New Hazelton RCMP have been kept busy this week with two road incidents.
On Wednesday morning, officers were called out to a two vehicle collision on Highway 16, just west of New Hazelton.
A Ford Escape was rear ended by a GMC Sierra, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.
A passenger in the SUV was bleeding from the nose and taken to hospital.
Later that day, police noticed a driver of a vehicle on Highway 62 near Gitanmaax Hall that shouldn’t have been behind the wheel.
The vehicle was stopped and it was confirmed the driver was on a current driving prohibition.
The vehicle was impounded and the driver now has a court date.
