The Houston Hospice Society is hosting an art show, auction and gala.
Coordinator Linda Bush says the money raised from the event will go back to the society.
“We need it for our operating expenses, we have an office and we house equipment for people who are in their homes with a terminal illness so we have beds and wheelchairs that we can lend people,” she says.
Bush says they also run programs and grief support.
The public is invited to check out the artwork tomorrow evening at the community hall and then it will be auctioned off on Saturday night.
