Smithers Subway raises money for the Bulkley Valley Health Care and Hospital Foundation

The Bulkley Valley Health Care and Hospital Foundation is ordering a new piece of medical equipment, thanks to a recent fundraiser by the Smithers Subway.
Foundation Chair Ted Bobb says they are using the nearly $4,000 raised to buy a new special wheelchair.
“Of course they have wheelchairs,” he says. “But they don’t have such a chair that can recline and provide air flow around the patient.”
This is the second year in a row that Subway has donated 100 per cent of the cookie sales for a month to the foundation.
