The Central Park Building will be under going some renos soon.
Council awarded a contract to upgrade the crawlspace at last night’s meeting to Nuvue Contracting.
The job includes developing a new crawlspace access from building exterior and deactivating the existing access Iocated in the men’s washroom. The foundation walls will also be insulated.
The project will cost a little over $28,000.
Only one company put in a bid. It was initially over budget but town staff worked with the contractor to modify to scope of work and reduce costs.
The work is being done to help preserve the 100 year old building.
