Planning is underway for a new fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society.
One of the organizers Lorna Thornton says they are doing a daffodil dash instead of the annual relay for life this year.
“We decided, after listening to feed back, that the relay for life needed a bit of change,” she says. “This year we are going to a shorter event at the end of April, the end of Daffodil Month, sort of a finale.”
The daffodil dash will be held on Sunday, April 26.
A registration and information evening will take place next Thursday at the Alpenhorn.
