Springtime is upon us here in the Bulkley Valley as the Smithers Golf and Country Club has opened their course to area residents.
“We’re open to the public with temporary tee-times,” says Clubhouse Manager Anouk Guelidi “Monday through Sunday golfers can tee off from 10 am- 6 pm and things are looking good. There is some snow covering parts of certain fairways, however, that won’t last long”
Guelidi is in her first year as Manager of the Smithers Golf and Country Club and says she is excited to show the public what they have to offer.
“We’ve got quite a new team here and a high level of service is important to us. Our golf course is open to everyone in the public and we’re ready to showcase our high standards of golfing to the community.”‘
The times posted for the course are temporary as mornings still offer periods of frost. Guelidi says these times will be adjusted as the weather begins to warm.
