The Telkwa Emergency Social Services is looking for a few more helping hands to join the team.
Volunteer Krista Scott says they help people when a disaster strikes.
“What we do is spend a couple hours a month planning and preparing for disaster, for example if someone’s house burns down or there is a forest fire,” she says. “What we do really is help people get support if they are displaced.”
