We here in the Bulkley Valley are well aware that public transit is a key form of transportation in the area.
That’s why the announcement scheduled for tomorrow in Burns Lake at 2 pm is a relatively big deal.
BC Transit in coordination with the District of Bulkley Nechako is expected to unveil new buses with higher capacity seating for Highway 16 routes from Prince George-Burns Lake, and Burns Lake-Smithers.
This transit announcement will add some relief after Greyhound buses stopped serving Northern BC back in February.
