Bulkley Valley Weather Update

The makersĀ of Advil are most-likely making a killing with these fluctuating temperatures in the Bulkley Valley.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Lisa West gives us an update on what to expect for the coming days.

“Starting with today, a lot of cloud coverage for the region and there is a chance of light rain depending on where you are in the Bulkley Valley. Expect skies to clear later this evening which will lead to a high around 18 tomorrow in mostly sunny conditions. Heading into Sunday, warmer around 20 degrees but we should see a little more cloud coverage.”

So when is the next chance of precipitation?

“Well Sunday night heading into Monday, there’s a bit of a system working its way up from Southern BC.” says West “The Northern portion of that weather system may make for some rain in the lakes region South of Highway 16.”

The roller coaster of weather is expected to continue next week.

Tuesday a ridge of high pressure makes its way into the region, which should keep residents of the Bulkley Valley dry.

West assures us here in the region that these temperatures are quite typical for this time of year. Expect the coming weeks to see temperatures rise and fall during the transition from Spring to Summer.
