Daffodil Days are coming early for the Canadian Cancer Society fundraiser in Houston this year.
Volunteer Sue Jones says they will be selling the flowers about a month early.
“It’s our annual fresh cut daffodil drive,” she says. “We’ve had it for many years in Houston. This year they came early because it is so warm down south so the flowers started opening up.”
Daffodils can be bought at the Houston mall on Thursday and Friday afternoon.
Bunches are $5 each with all the proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society.
