Around 5:30 this evening, Telkwa Fire Rescue received reports of a grass fire on the hill behind 2nd and 3rd street.
Crews are still on scene as the blaze looks to be contained. They continue to hose down the perimeter for precautionary measures.
Officials say there were no reported injuries due to the fire and the cause has yet to be determined
