The River Forecast Centre has issued a Flood Watch for the Bulkley River and tributaries in the Burns Lake, Houston, and Smithers regions.
A tributary for those who aren’t aware is a river or stream flowing into a larger river or lake.
There is also a High Streamflow Advisory for the Nechako River including tributaries in the Burns Lake area.
An update from the River Forecast Centre is scheduled today at 2 pm.
