Smithers town council meets tonight.
The meeting starts with a public hearing.
The town would like to change which uses are allowed in the Public Use Two Zone.
Council is expected to sign and renew some leases, including with the Smithers Mountain Bike Association for use at Elks Park and with the museum for storage.
Also on the agenda, the Director of Works and Operations, will recommend the purchase of new water meters and reading equipment.
