The Northern Development Initiative Trust has approved some cash for a new arena to be built in Hazelton.
The Upper Skeena Recreation Centre now has an extra $250,000 worth of funds.
Around four million dollars has already been pledged for the new facility which will sit next to the now condemned Ken Trombley Memorial Arena.
