Planning is well underway for the annual trade expo in Smithers.
District Chamber of Commece manager Heather Gallagher says it will be twice the size this year.
“This is the first opportunity we’ve had to fill two two arenas,” she says. “So we are hosting the northwest trade expo in both the civic centre and the new arena. The new arena will be dedicated to an outdoor show so we have it filled with RVs, boats, ATVs, paddle boards, kayaks.”
Gallagher says there are only two spots left for the new arena and the old arena is already filled up.
The chamber is still looking for a few musicians to play during the expo, anyone interested can contact their office.
The two day show will held May 1 and 2.
