If you live under a rock, you certainly missed the Show ‘n Shine that took place in Smithers over the weekend and that is unfortunate for you, as it was a great local event.
From nice cars to sidewalk sales, the downtown core of Smithers was certainly thriving on Saturday.
Floor Manager for Local Supply Co, Micaela McTavish, says she was glad her store could take advantage of the increased activity over the weekend.
“Saturday was certainly one of our busiest times this year. Events such as this really help us clear out old inventory, as well as, offer some great deals to people who came to check things out. We served customers from as far as Terrace and Prince George and although we are still tallying our sales from the weekend, I’m confident in saying we served well over 200 people Saturday.”
The Show ‘n Shine also saw nearly 60 vehicles enter the car show from many residents of the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District.
