The BC Provincial School Golf Championships are set to wrap up today in Osoyoos.
The Bulkley Valley Christian School (BVCS) sent a team comprised of five players which included grade twelves Joel Veenstra and Nate Steenhoff, as well as, grade elevens Jake Groot and brothers John and Nathan Boone.
It seems as though the leaderboard has been finalized which gives the BVCS a 5th place finish in this year’s tournament at +73. A top of the leaderboard sits Aberdeen Hall at +12.
It is also worth noting that grade twelve representative, Joel Veenstra is a two-time provincial champion, winning consecutive tournaments in grades ten and eleven.
