After an investigation Prince Rupert RCMP have confirmed that two deaths were the result of a murder-suicide.
On April 3rd RCMP responded to the Prince Rupert home after receiving a request to check on the well-being of the occupants and discovered the bodies.
RCMP now say the adult woman killed her teenage son before killing herself.
Cst. Matt Ericson says it is with great sadness that the police have to inform the community about the incident.
