Tomorrow is the last day to get your studded tires removed.
The Ministry of Transportation says studded tires may only be used on northern roads between October and April.
RCMP Corporal Mario Cloutier says, “Motorists are not allowed to use studded tires between May 1st and September 30th. If they are choosing to drive with studded tires they might be facing a fine of $109.”
He says local RCMP will be conducting road checks throughout northern B.C. starting in May.
