Two men who were accused of breaking into a Smithers home in January, assaulting the resident and stealing a car have been sentenced in court.
Thirty one-year-old Joseph Evong and 23-year-old Christopher Adam faced charges of assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and theft.
Each were sentenced to two years in prison, less time already served, 10 year firearm prohibitions and two year probations.
Evong and Adam were also ordered to pay $774 each in restitution.
