Smithers mayor Taylor Bachrach is conducting a new survey to gauge the public’s opinion on town projects and the future of the area.
Bachrach says for now the survey is available on his facebook page but will soon be available through the town website and maybe at the office.
“Getting feedback from residents is an important part of the job and this is one of the tools that we have at our disposal. so it’s a short multiple choice survey, it only take two minutes to fill out. Basically asking residents what they think about the town’s initiatives, the things we have made priorities over the past couple years and what things they would like us to focus on in the future.”
He says the survey will run to the end of the month and then he will submit a report based on the public responses so people can see what the general feeling is about the direction the town is going.
