Smithers McDonald’s owner Shane Doodson says McDonald’s raised $4.1 million dollars for the Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver.
He says the local McDonald’s sold 432 Big Macs, 100 Happy Meals and over 600 hot drinks yesterday to raise $2,617.
“It was great that everyone came out to help us donate some money to Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver. The brand new house will be opening in the middle of June with 50 rooms so all the proceeds will go to that.”
The Ronald Mcdonald House in Vancouver houses families from around the province while their children receive medical treatment at Children’s Hospital.
