You might soon be getting a knock on your door from someone asking about the future of the area.
Skeena 2050’s, Skyla Lattie says the Skeena 2050 survey is hosted by Skeena Wild and the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition and aims to understand what the priorities for the future of the North are for residents.
“We know there is a lot of big change happening and coming through our region and we also know that Skeena residents aren’t being asked what they would like to see happen. So from this questionnaire we’d like to see what people would like to see happen in our region and if everyone is on the same page.”
She says questions will include what is important to you and your family and how do you get your voice included in decisions that affect you.
You can sign up to be a volunteer at www.skeena2050.ca and volunteers will be knocking on doors in the coming weeks.
The results will then be summarized and shared with the public.
