Wet'suwet'en to hold meeting on LNG

Members of the Wet’suwet’en will gather in Moricetown tomorrow for a meeting on LNG.

Hereditary Chief Namoks says the natural resource department is hosting the meeting for all clan members to come out and learn about the various proposed LNG projects for the area.

Namoks says with all the onslaught of information on so many different projects there is confusion among members on the facts.

“All of the information will be given by the Office of the Wet’suwet’en staff to the house and clan members. Industry and government has had many opportunities to go out there and put their side to it. We just want to give just the facts to our membership, where everything is right now and there are a number of things that they need to make decision on, on their own.”

The meeting takes place at the Moricetown Multiplex tomorrow from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
