Employers are expected to get a better look at a national jobs grant soon.
The provinces and federal government have been negotiating for a over a year on a grant that would help skilled workers upgrade in their trade.
Employers will be able to see the details of the grant in the coming months with applications expected to go at the end of summer.
Jobs Minister Shirley Bond says the grant will include funding for vulnerable workers.
Bond says through the grant, employers would have to contribute $5,000 to help a worker upgrade their skills.
