Hazelton schools are closed today as part of the rotating strikes that will run throughout the province this week.
BCTF teachers in the Coast Mountain School District will be not be reporting for duty today and school buses will not be running.
A notice sent out by the school district asks that parents do not send their children to school on Monday as there will not be enough staff to ensure adequate supervision.
The BCTF and the province continue to meet over wage increases, class sizes and composition but have yet to reach a deal.
