Bike to Work Week kicks off today across B.C.
Local organizer, Jeremy Shriber hopes some people may stick with biking to school or work after trying it for the week.
“It’s a way to build a stronger community and it’s a great way to start the day. It’s also healthier for the environment, trying to get away from burning so much fuel.”
Teams and businesses can sign up to participate in the event and individuals are encouraged to take part as well.
Shriber says there are some bikes from Mcbike and COB that are available to be won as well.
