Smithers council meets tonight.
Council will meet the new Smithers Library director, Wendy Wright and the community recycling liaison Alexie Stephens.
Council will also hear staff reports on the Storefront Spruce-up Grants, the Fairground washrooms and the Fulton Walkway.
Council will also hear from Director of Recreation, Andrew Hillaby on a public walking track proposed for inside the new arena.
And Council will perform the first and second readings of the bylaw change that will reduce the parking requirement for businesses along Main Street.
The meeting starts at 7:30 pm in council chambers.
