Houston council meets tonight with a light agenda.
The meeting starts with two delegations.
The first is from the Canadian Cancer Society about an upcoming fundraiser.
The second presentation will be from the Pleasant Valley Horse Club with an idea to bring back the rodeo.
Also on the agenda, council will discuss the chamber’s upcoming “Pitch-in Week” and decide whether or not to join picking up litter from the streets.
The district has participated in the past and staff are recommending council help out again during this year’s campaign which runs the last week of April.
The council meeting starts at 7 p.m. tonight.
