A body has been found just off Highway 16 near the six mile hill brake check today.
Police say highway maintenance crews found the body just east of Topley in a ditch.
The identity of the individual is not being released at this time and the cause of death is under investigation.
Highway 16 is down to one lane, alternating traffic.
