Houston council meets tonight.
The meeting starts with three delegations.
The first is from the mountain bike tourism association with the results and outcomes of the 2014 of the Northern B.C. Mountain Bike Recreation and Tourism Development Strategy.
The second presentation will be from the Northwest Community College about their ongoing programs.
The third will about the Steelhead Multicultural Society and the railway station building. Also on the agenda, council will discuss billing the Seniors Activity Centre for utilities. This property has not been getting charged and staff isn’t sure why or for how long. The Director of Finance is recommending the building start paying for operating costs but not bill the centre retroactively.
