The Canadian Cancer Society’s fundraiser is on Sunday but organizers are hoping a few more teams sign up this week.
The day-time daffodil dash is replacing the usual 24 hour relay for life.
Volunteer Annette Ingham says this is a family friendly event and will be fun for all ages.
“We have room for a lot more teams to participate and it isn’t too late to sign up,” she says. “Registration forms can be picked up at the Twin Valley Inn, Bulkley Valley Credit Union, Heatherington and Hooper, Heartstrings or Pharmasave.”
It will be held on Sunday at Heritage Park at 1 p.m.
All the money raised will go to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and support programs.
