NDP Finance Critic critiques budget

The NDP MP for Skeena Bulkley Valley is calling today’s budget a mixed bag, at best.
Nathan Cullen, who is also the finance critic, says three or four ideas the New Democrats proposed were included.
“Lowering the small business tax rate, helping out in manufacturing and some funds for innovation,” he says.”Which our economy has lost 400,000 manufacturing jobs since the Conservatives took over. There are 300,000 more unemployed Canadians than during before the last recession hit.”
Cullen says for the most part, the budget is good for the wealthy but not for everyone else. He adds, there wasn’t much money for infrastructure for the northwest or added money for the coast guard.
