Burns Lake Canadian Cancer Society will be hosting a “Daffodil Extravaganza” tomorrow night.
The evening will be filled with entertainment, a silent auction, and a Ukrainian dinner of with Cabbage rolls, perogies, and farmers sausage.
Chairperson Rhoda Anderson has been apart of the Cancer Society for over 30 years and tells us why she holds it so dear.
“Many years ago I lost my dad to cancer and I continued to be involved and then I got cancer myself. I’m a survivor 13 years,” she says.
The event will take place at Decker Lake Hall.
Tickets are still on sale at the Cancer Office. They are $35 for adults $15 for children under 16.
