Saturday morning will be the last time that you can pick up your local produce indoors for quite some time.
It will be the last Saturday before the Bulkley Valley Farmers’ Market moves outside for the summer.
Administrative Assistant Lyn Nugent tells us not to worry, there is still a lot to look forward to, especially with the nicer weather.
“Each year we get more and more vegetable producers who are doing more and more to have longer season vegetables and also to have new and interesting kind of vegetables. We already have farmers who are coming with fresh greens. I think people will be surprised what’s available this early in the year,” she says.
Nugent also said the outdoor market hours have changed.
The market will now start at 9 am and run until 1 pm starting May 9.
