With the warmer weather expected this week will also come some greener views
The Houston and District Chamber of Commerce’s annual Pitch-in Week is now in full effect and residents are making the community litter-free.
Office Manager Bonnie Perepelecpa says the goal is to make Houston spotless.
“Just cleaning up Houston, picking up all the garbage that has been littered throughout the winter and just having the town nice and clean…Â it’s just a nice way to start the spring with a community effort to pick up any garbage that is out there,” she says.
