On Tuesday, May 5th, Hazelton is invited to step right up and visit the West Coast Amusement Carnival.
This year’s edition includes new attractions like more electronic games and “donut sandwiches.”
There are also 18 rides set up for carnival-goers of all ages.
Owner Bob Hauser says the carnival has been going to Hazelton for over 40 years, and it’s the smiles that keep him coming back.
“To watch little kids and you see the smiles on their faces and they’re eating their cotton candy and their face is blue and sticky. It just brings a little tickle to my heart,” he says.
The carnival will run from 3 pm until 10 Tuesday. It is located across from Upper Skeena Arena and admission is free.
