Cooped up inside all winter, the Bulkley Valley Farmers’ Market is headed for greener pastures.
The market can now be found on Saturday mornings at Main street and Highway 16.
Administrative Assistant Lyn Nugent says she’s excited for both the move outdoors and for the local product.
“A lot of our vegetables vendors now have their greens starting so early. Starting tomorrow, there’s already going to be radishes and a huge selection of lettuce. There’s one guy that brings all sort of pea and sunflower shoots,” she says.
The Market will be here every weekend throughout summer, and has changed their times to begin at 9 am.
